MSP Building 11,000-SF Rice Street Clinic

ST. PAUL-HealthEast Rice Street Clinic is across Rice Street from the old one and will be ready to open in December. Genesis Architecture did the design work, while MSP Commercial is doing the construction.

ST. PAUL-MSP Commercial broke ground for the new HealthEast Rice Street Clinic, an 11,0000-sf facility for HealthEast Care System. The new clinic will be located at 980 Rice St., just across the street from the present address at 1006 Rice St.

Construction is expected to be completed in November and the plan is to open in early December, says Paul Johnson, manager of the HealthEast Rice Street Clinic. The new clinic, which was designed by Genesis Architecture, a business owned by the Eden Prairie, MN-based Welsh Cos., will have 21 exam rooms, two procedure rooms and upgraded X-ray equipment. The new Rice Street Clinic will have seven family practice physicians on staff.
