Shoppes at Wilton Manors is 82% leased. Among the tenants are neighborhood restaurants, shops and services. Mark Corlew, vice president of Stiles Investment Services Group, handled the acquisition of the property. Byron Calhoun of Stiles Realty Co. brokered the deal, with Dennis Bellehemeur of Re/Max the co-broker.
With the purchase, Stiles is investing in the redevelopment of the City of Wilton Manors, which plans to become a pedestrian-oriented urban village, with Wilton Drive the thoroughfare for arts, entertainment and shopping, according to the company."We are intrigued by all the projects and exciting changes in Wilton Manors," Stiles Corp. president Doug Eagon says in a statement. "We feel this is a long-term investment, and it goes in line with our acquisition program and our increasing commitment to investing in quality real estate."
