The site and facility assessment service provider will offer up detailed analysis on the physical state of each structure ranging from classroom buildings to laboratories; some of which are nearly 80-years-old. "We are committed to improving conditions of our facilities and we believe that EMG's qualifications and experience will help us focus our efforts," says GMU director of physical plants Larry Spaine.

EMG is on target to complete the inspection report, which will contain a financial summary of necessary upgrades, in October. In the recent past, the company has provided the same service for other educational institutions, including the University of Virginia.
