The facility is located on 18.5 acres in Hankin's Eagleview Corporate Center. Phase I is expected to reach completion in November 2005, and Kensey Nash will relocate from its current headquarters here on East Uwchlan Avenue. Phase II calls for full fit-out of the top floor of the initial building along with an addition of approximately 25,000 sf, Brian Magargee, project architect with locally based Arcus Design Group, tells GlobeSt.com. His firm is the designer of the facility. It will house manufacturing, research and development, sales, marketing and administrative functions. Kensey Nash plans to add approximately 250 new jobs to its current staff of about 300.

Jeff Mack and Todd Westby of Wayne-based GVA Smith Mack performed site selection and negotiated the build-to-suit sale for Kensey Nash. "The site selection process not only reviewed Pennsylvania, but also New Jersey and Delaware, and they chose Pennsylvania," Westby says. "It's been a collaborative effort between the governor's office, the Chester County Development Council, PECO, Hankin Group and Arcus Design Group," he adds without disclosing the value of incentives provided by the participating entities.

Eagleview Corporate Center is located on 435 acres in Chester County within a master-planned, 800-acre Eagleview mixed-use community that also includes approximately 536 residential units, a hotel, restaurants and retail. Hankin is the developer.
