Kensey Nash $26M Corporate HQ Breaks Ground

EXTON, PA-Hankin Group is developing the 165,000-sf phase I build-to-suit on 18.5 acres in Eagleview Corporate Center. Kensey Nash will move into 100,000 sf of the facility in November 2005. Full fit-out and a 25,000-sf addition will follow.

EXTON, PA-Locally based Hankin Group is developing a new corporate headquarters for Kensey Nash, a manufacturer of absorbable biomaterial products for the healthcare industries, which is also based here. Phase I of the build-to-suit calls for construction of a two-story 165,000-sf shell and full fit-out of the 100,000-sf ground floor. Phase-I construction cost is approximately $26 million, according to Kensey Nash.

The facility is located on 18.5 acres in Hankin’s Eagleview Corporate Center. Phase I is expected to reach completion in November 2005, and Kensey Nash will relocate from its current headquarters here on East Uwchlan Avenue. Phase II calls for full fit-out of the top floor of the initial building along with an addition of approximately 25,000 sf, Brian Magargee, project architect with locally based Arcus Design Group, tells GlobeSt.com. His firm is the designer of the facility. It will house manufacturing, research and development, sales, marketing and administrative functions. Kensey Nash plans to add approximately 250 new jobs to its current staff of about 300.
