The new enterprise is in response to an extensive military housing privatization program initiated by the US Department of Defense. Kimble has more than 20 years experience in real estate development and she has been with Opus since 1994. Prior to her new position, Kimble had primary development responsibility for national clients and managed real estate development projects on a national basis. During her tenure with Opus, she has completed in excess of six million sf of build-to-suit development for national clients. She also led the national business development team and had responsibility for a number of special projects in the US and Canada.

The locally based Opus Group has offices in 26 cities across the US, and one in Toronto. Since opening its doors in 1953, Opus has developed more than 210 million sf and completed more than 2,200 projects across the country. Opus currently has approximately 25 million sf of space planned or under development.
