Life Time Picks Site for 200,000-SF HQ

CHANHASSEN, MN-The 23-acre property will initially feature one of its 109,000-sf health and fitness centers. The newly public company plans to build two 100,000 sf office buildings for its headquarters.

CHANHASSEN, MN-Life Time Fitness, a national operator of large and distinctive health and fitness centers, plans to build a pair of three-story 100,000-sf office buildings to be used as the company’s corporate headquarters. The company has a 23-acre property on which both a new fitness center and new office buildings would be developed.

No construction timetable has been set for the new office headquarters development. Construction is expected to begin late this year on the two-story, 109,000-sf center will be located in the Arboretum Business Park at the southeast corner of Highway 5 and Highway 41 and will include a new 33,000-sf outdoor pool, according to the Eden Prairie-based health and fitness center operator. The Chanhassen City Council recently approved the development plans.
