A driver in the move is that a conference/training facility, built for Brown Brothers four years ago, will serve as CBRE's New York branch of its national corporate training program. Courses offered include brokerage, management, sales and professional development. The firm will relocate on September 15.

Bruce Surry, the firm's executive managing director for Downtown Manhattan operations, represented CBRE, while CBRE's Scott Gamber and Jonathan Cope acted for Brown Brothers. "Since we're expanding by approximately 30 percent, we are set for future growth," says Surry, executive managing director of CBRE's Downtown Manhattan operations.
