A representative of the town tells GlobeSt.com that the shopping center, the first of its kind in Hudson, will be an outdoor lifestyle center and consist of a grocery store, restaurants and retail stores. The property is currently largely vacant.

Sullivan Hayes already purchased property in neighboring Berlin, but needed this site to be able to build the shopping center, which is estimated to cost $105 million to develop. The center will ultimately straddle the border of both towns.
