Gold's Gym Takes Anchor at 100,000-SF Center

FREDERICK, MD-Gold’s Gym has decided to take up most of the 46,000-sf anchor space at the 100,000-sf Evergreen Square shopping center. The fitness facility will occupy 28,000 sf of the space that formerly belonged to Central Tractor Farm & Country.

Specific terms of Gold’s lease agreement with H&R Retail, the firm that handles leasing at the property, have not been released; however, H&R’s Susan B. Anderson tells GlobeSt.com that small space has been going for somewhere in the mid-$20 per sf range. The deal allows Gold’s to relocate from its present Frederick facility on Gallows Road.
