EB Developers Taps Turner Construction to Build Gables Marquis

MIAMI-EB Developers has selected Turner Construction as the general contractor for Gables Marquis, a 20-story luxury condominium project set to break ground this fall in the city.Plans call for the tower to consist of 177 residences ranging from 792 sf to 2,460 sf of air-conditioned space. The units are pre-construction priced from the low $200,000s to the $600,000s. The project is being developed between the cities of Coconut Grove and Coral Gables.Gables Marquis will have one-, two- and three-bedroom units, including penthouses and three-story townhomes. Amenities will include a pool and spa pavilion, a social room with a lounge, a business center, an 11,000-sf retail center and a fitness center.Turner Construction was founded in 1902 and Turner Florida opened in 1908. Locally, the company has built residential and commercial projects such as the Continuum and Grand Flamingo in Miami Beach, the Sonesta at Mutiny Park in Coconut Grove, the Village of Merrick Park in Coral Gables and the American Airlines North Terminal Development Program at Miami International Airport.EB Developers, based in Boca Raton, is currently is involved in several other South Florida multifamily residential projects, including the Promenade at Doral, a 770-residence garden-style condo community. Gables Marquis is the company’s debut in the Miami market.
