GE Seeks to Expand Facility by 86,000 SF

BILLERICA, MA-General Electric wants town approval to expand the facility it is moving into on Technology Park Drive by nearly 86,000 sf. The company is leasing the property, which is currently a vacant, 100,000-sf building, from Irving, TX-based Archon Group.

BILLERICA, MA-General Electric Co. wants to expand the Technology Park Drive facility it is moving into by nearly 86,000 sf. The company is leasing the vacant 100,000-sf building from Irving, TX-based Archon Group.

Peter Kennedy, Billerica’s town planner, tells GlobeSt.com that GE needs town approval before it can move ahead with its plans. He says that the company has filed its request with the town’s planning board which will vote on the proposal shortly. “They should be pretty much there in a few weeks,” notes Kennedy.
