To be called Wyndham Cap Tremblant Mountain Resort, it is the Wyndham brand's first property in the province of Quebec, and second Canadian property. Intersite, founded in 1998, is equally owned by the two founding shareholders, Guymond Fortin, president and CEO, and Louis-Philippe Dupuis, chairman and COO. Wyndham describes its relationship with Intersite and Cap Tremblant as a long-term franchise agreement.

The first two phases of the project are complete, and the final phase of construction begins in November and will continue in stages until December 2008. The resort includes two pools, three spas, a waterslide, tennis courts, a steam bath and a massage center. Additional amenities that will be part of the third phase of construction include lounges, reception rooms, a bar and restaurant, tennis courts and more.

The new residential units will include both mountain homes and condominiums that will be available for individual sale and occupancy by unit owners, who will be able to join Wyndham's rental program. Each one- to five-bedroom unit in the new phase will offer views of the Laurentian Mountains and both wired and wireless high-speed Internet access. A private shuttle will transport guests from the historic town of Mont Tremblant to Intrawest Corp.'s 652-acre Tremblant Ski Resort.
