The chain, one of the nation's largest Asian restaurant companies, already is well known in the area with its Leeann Chin restaurants, which are typically buffet style. Chin's Asia Fresh will bring the food to the guest's table. Chin's also offers the freshness of "individually wok'd" orders, says Steve Finn, CEO of Leeann Chin, Inc.
"While consumers always will need quick options for meals on the go, they also are looking for fresher and more sophisticated food options in approachable, artful formats," says Greg Creighton, president of Leeann Chin Inc.
The first Chin's opened in Brookfield, WI, a suburb of Milwaukee, in June 2002. A second location opened on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in December 2002. There are now a total of five locations in Madison, Milwaukee and Rochester, MN.
In addition to the six Chin's Asia Fresh restaurants, Leeann Chin Inc. has more than 55 Leeann Chin restaurants, two full-service buffet restaurants, catering, corporate delivery, and retail products including a line of frozen entrees and bottled sauces.
