Chin's Asia Comes to Twin Cities

MINNETONKA, MN-Unlike the Bloomington-based chain's other buffet-style restaurants, the 80-seat, 3,200-sf restaurant at 11300 Wayzata Blvd. offers fresh prepared food delivered to the table.

MINNETONKA, MN-Leeann Chin Inc. says it will open a 3,200-sf Chin’s Asia fresh restaurant later this month at 11300 Wayzata Blvd. at the intersection of Hwy 394 and Hopkins Crossroads. The new 80-seat Chin’s restaurant, the Bloomington-based chain’s sixth, represents the new restaurant concept’s entry into the Twin Cities metro area.

The chain, one of the nation’s largest Asian restaurant companies, already is well known in the area with its Leeann Chin restaurants, which are typically buffet style. Chin’s Asia Fresh will bring the food to the guest’s table. Chin’s also offers the freshness of “individually wok’d” orders, says Steve Finn, CEO of Leeann Chin, Inc.

“While consumers always will need quick options for meals on the go, they also are looking for fresher and more sophisticated food options in approachable, artful formats,” says Greg Creighton, president of Leeann Chin Inc.
