Townhome Project Gets Building Permit

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL-The Villas of Coral Heights, a townhome project under development in the city, has obtained building permits and begun construction. The project, located on Federal Highway at 39th Street between Oakland Park and Commercial boulevards, is Toronto-based developer Lakeview Homes Inc.’s first project in Florida.The Villas of Coral Heights is a fee-simple townhome community being developed on 4.5 acres. It will consist of 68 three-story residences in 11 buildings. The community also has an amenities building and a pool.Construction is scheduled to be finished by September 2005. The general contractor is Stiles Construction Co., based in Fort Lauderdale. Kelton Project Management, also of Fort Lauderdale, with principal Steven M. Kelton, is overseeing project management, including managing the general contractor, maintaining the project budget, and submitting monthly draw requests to the lender. The project architect is Pasquale Kuritzky Architects.
