BOSTON-Shreve, Crump & Low is relocating to 222 Berkeley St. The retailer, which runs the oldest jewelry store in the country, is leasing 21,722 sf formerly occupied by FAO Schwartz. The toy retailer entered bankruptcy protection last year and closed this store.

Meredith & Grew senior vice presidents John A. Carroll, Jr. and Theodore J. Chryssicas, represented Shreve, Crump & Low in its efforts to secure a long-term lease in the building. Greg Brown and Kenton McKeon represented property owner, Hines.

The 22-story building is located at the corner of Berkeley and Boylston streets in the heart of the city’s Back Bay. The property consists of approximately 531,000 sf of class A office and retail space.
