Labock Technologies Inks 127,000-SF Industrial Lease

WESTON, FL-Labock Technologies has inked a 127,000-sf lease valued at close to $3.7 million in Weston Distribution Center, a warehouse facility in the city.Labock is paying about $5.75 per sf for its five-year lease. The building is located on 16.4 acres at 1600 Northpark Dr. in the Weston Park of Commerce, an 850-acre business park. Labock Technologies specializes in the research and production of safety armors.Terranova Corp. of Miami recently acquired Weston Distribution Center, the 225,760-sf former Federal Mogul Corp. industrial building, for SSR Realty Advisors for $13.3 million.Terranova is handling leasing and management of the Broward County property. Trish Blasi, the company’s executive vice president, represented the building, which is expandable to 300,000 sf and includes 25,760 sf of office space, in the deal. It is the first tenant Terranova has signed in the building, and the deal represents a turnaround for the Weston-area industrial market and the building, according to Terranova.
