Livingston County School Sold to Church

HARTLAND TOWNSHIP, MI-Victory Baptist Church bids $2,000 more than the list price to acquire the 10,000-sf Crouse Building at 3642 Washington St., deemed surplus property by the local school board.

HARTLAND TOWNSHIP, MI-A former school building in Hartland Township has been sold for $321,700. The Livingston County property will become a church.

The Hartland school board recently consolidated several departments, leaving the 10,000-sf Crouse Building at 3642 Washington St. as surplus. The property was put out for bid, with Victory Baptist Church bidding $2,000 more than the list price. The church currently does not have a permanent home, but had been renting a school district building for some of its Sunday school and other youth programs.
