Booz Allen Signs Lease for 162,500-SF Building

ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, MD-Global strategy and technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. committed to leasing an entire 162,500-sf office building that is currently under construction in the National Business Park. The 175-acre, class A project being developed by Corporate Office Properties Trust will, upon completion, feature approximately three million sf of mixed-use offerings. The building is part of the second phase of NBP’s development, which will encompass 10 new structures accounting for 1.3 million sf. Earlier this month, Northrop Grumman Corp. pre-leased an entire 104,000-sf building that is also presently under construction.

Specific terms of Booz Allen Hamilton’s lease with Corporate Office have not been revealed; however, the market rate for class A office space in western Anne Arundel County is in the mid-$20 range. With this new lease, Booz Allen has claim to more than 250,000 sf in the business park.
