Logistics Provider Crafts 278,000-SF Warehouse Lease

PHOENIX-States Logistics Services Inc. has leased the 278,000-sf Mack Tolleson II, a combo distribution and manufacturing facility at 10397 W. Van Buren Ave. The deal is one of the largest industrial leases to be signed this year.

The Buena Park, CA-based third-party logistics provider inked a 15-month lease with a payout of nearly $1.5 million, according to Bo Mills, a vice president with Trammell Crow Co. who brokered the deal along with his partner Mark Detmer. “This type of user traditionally doesn’t sign long-term leases,” Mill says. “The fact that they signed a 15-month deal was a win for the landlord.”

The San Francisco-based Rreef Real Estate Investment Managers got the building in 2001 when it acquired the Boston-based Cabot Industrial Trust portfolio. “The building had been vacant for many years,” Mills says.
