Hollywood Tans Plans 30 Stores in Greater Boston

NATICK, MA-Hollywood Tans is planning to expand its franchises in the Greater Boston area. Beantan LLC, the New England region’s franchise owners, entered the area last year with one store in Saugus on Route One South at 371B Broadway and plans to have 30 stores in the region by 2006.

The Mount Laurel, NJ-based company says that by the end of this year, there will be ten Hollywood Tans salons operating in the Greater Boston market. Other stores in the area include one in Billerica in the Treble Cove Plaza at 199 Boston Rd.; in Quincy at 115 Parkingway; and, in Natick in Sherwood Plaza at 1300 A1 Worcester Street. A fifth location in Brighton at 470 Washington St. is opening shortly. The company is also planning to open stores in Brookline, Somerville and Woburn.
