Aviation Plaza was opened for business in 2002 by Starwood Ceruzzi of Fairfield, CT, which sold it last spring to its current owner, a fund managed by the Morristown, NJ-based SSR. The sale price of a reported $54.5 million covered 388,000 sf and excluded the Home Depot store, which is owned by the retailer.
SSR Realty Advisors currently has $5 billion of assets under management for its 100 or so institutional clients. For its part, Levin Management has a third-party retail portfolio of just over 11 million sf for individual, fiduciary and institutional clients.
