The center will be located at the southwest corner of Daniels Parkway on US Highway 41 and is planned to include retailers Comp USA, Cost Plus and Petco. Market Square Phase I is home to such retailers as Barnes & Noble and Target. Argate Properties in Miami is the project's developer, which controls Market Square Associates LLC--the property owner.
The developer broke ground on the retail project recently and intends to finish it in seven to eight months, according to Jeremy Anderson, who handled the financing for Union Bank. The total development budget is approximately $7.4 million, Anderson says.
