The Taper Caper Gifts will open a 2,450-sf store in the Cypress Town Center at the intersection of Jones Road and Cypress North Houston. The 120,000-sf shopping center is anchored by Kroger and is 90% leased, says the lease's sole broker, Heather Nguyen with NewQuest Properties in Houston. The center's quoted rent ranges from $18.50 per sf to $22 per sf.

At nearby Antoine Town Center, Texas State Optical will open a shop in 2,080 sf. NewQuest's David Meyers tells GlobeSt.com that talks are underway to fill the 7,200-sf balance in the 116,251-sf, Kroger-anchored center at the intersection of Texas Highway 249 and Antoine Drive. The quoted rate is $1.60 per sf per month. Meyers represented the building owner, NewQuest, while James S. Pappas of Houston was the tenant's broker.

Midas Real Estate Group LLC took 1,400 sf at Eldridge Lakes Town Center, an 87,000-sf center at the intersection of North Eldridge Parkway and West Little York Road. Myers, the sole broker, says the Kroger-anchored center is 90% leased with a base rent of $1.65 per sf monthly.
