Altus Pharmaceuticals Subleases 16,000 SF

CAMBRIDGE, MA-Altus Pharmaceuticals leases 16,000 sf at 195 Albany St. in a sublease deal with Transkaryotic Therapies. The building was formerly the headquarters location for Transkaryotic, but Altus plans to redevelop the space for manufacturing use.

CAMBRIDGE, MA-Altus Pharmaceuticals is leasing 16,000 sf at 195 Albany St. The company, which develops protein therapeutics for patients with chronic gastrointestinal and metabolic diseases, is subleasing the space from Transkaryotic Therapies Inc.

Joe Flaherty, John Butterworth and Tucker Hansen of Meredith & Grew represented Transkaryotic, while Ed Fothergill of Cresa Partners represented Altus. Altus plans to modify the space from its current biotech/research/lab use to manufacturing. The company currently has locations at 125 Sidney St. and 625 Putnam Ave. This new location will to accommodate the company’s growth.
