Cross is among a bevy of industry leaders who will offer their views on the state of the real estate industry here to an expected 600 attendees. RealShare standard, the interactive Town Hall session will tackle the topic: Has a Recovery Taken Hold? Is the Market Moving Forward Again? The focus will be on subjects ranging from Lower Manhattan and investment sales to vacancy rates and condo conversions.

John Salustri, GlobeSt.com's national online editor, and Real Estate Board of New York president Steve Spinola will serve as moderators. The panel members are expected to include Robert Alexander, chairman, Tri-State Region, CB Richard Ellis; Michael Cohen, president, GVA Williams; Douglas Durst, co-president, the Durst Organization; Jim Hedden, executive vice president, Bank of America; Jon Mechanic, partner, Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobsen; Scott Rechler, president & CEO, Reckson Associates Realty Corp.; and Tara Stacom, executive vice president, Cushman & Wakefield.

New this year is the "New York Power Panel," which is scheduled to feature energetic debate from the likes of Bruce Wasserstein of Lazard & Co., Steve Roth of Vornado Realty Trust, Howard Rubenstein of Rubenstein & Associates, HJ Kalikow & Co.'s Peter Kalikow, Jerry Speyer of Tishman Speyer Properties and Boston Properties' Mort Zuckerman. Jonathan A. Schein, president and CEO of Real Estate Media is moderating the panel that will address topics such as current and future global trends.

Also on tap is a variety of concurrent sessions on topics such as capital markets, the comeback of Downtown, REITs in the city, investment sales, and the conversion of New York's multifamily market.
