Dunkin' Donuts NEDC's was represented by partners John Lashar, Brian McKenzie and Michael Frisoli, of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners. Dunkin' Donuts Northeast Distribution Center is a distribution and service cooperative owned and operated by the approximately 1,800 franchise locations in the six New England States. National Development was represented by Ted Tye, the firm's managing partner.
Dunkin' Donuts will be leasing back the office and warehouse facility, which consists of 134,000 sf and is situated on 18.5 acres, while its new building is being developed. Dunkin' Donuts plans to moves to Depot Street in the fall of 2005.
Bellingham's planning board gave the green light to Dunkin Donuts' proposal to build a facility on Depot Street back in May. The building, which required a special permit from the town, will serve as the Randolph-based company's northeast distribution center. Products for the company's franchises in the area will be distributed from this location.
The build-to-suit location on Depot Street is expandable to 400,000 sf. National Development will be developing the facility for Dunkin' Donuts NEDC. In addition to the distribution, all of the finance, administration, customer service, human resources, information systems and training will be located at this headquarters site.
