Commercial Station LLC sold the building for approximately $82.10 per sf. The building is situated within Commercial Station, a three-building, 65,000-sf complex located at 1100 W. Commercial Blvd. In 2001, Zenith Realty Investments renovated the property, which was built in 1996. The property has an assessed value of approximately $2.3 million, according to the Broward County property appraiser's office.
Universal Insurance will combine several affiliated divisions into a single corporate location. About 20 staff members are relocating to the Broward County building from sites in Dade County.
