The company is opening outlets in San Antonio, TX and Smyrna, GA this month. As of last month, the retailer also had three stores in Columbus, OH market, and one each in Atlanta market and Los Angeles.
The new store will serve western Saint Paul and eastern Minneapolis as it lies almost on the border between the two cities, says Edward Cameron, president and chief executive officer. Like other ApplianceSmart factory outlet superstores, the new St. Paul location will carry a wide range of special-buy major household appliance brands, including Maytag, GE, Frigidaire, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef and Roper. Special-buy appliances, which ApplianceSmart sells at a significant discount to retail, include new in-the-box closeouts, factory overruns, discontinued models and thousands of discounted out-of-box items.
