The building is currently 85% leased and is home to about 50 companies and 3,000 employees. Key tenants include Campbell Mithun Advertising, which currently occupies 120,000 sf and six floors in the building; Capella University, with more than 90,000 sf and four floors; and Berkley Risk, which occupies 90,000 sf and four floors.
"Our vision is to position the property to stand apart from its competitors Downtown," says Jeff Eaton, senior vice president of United Properties Property Services. United Properties also manages and leases TIAA-CREF-owned Normandale Lake Office Park in Bloomington. At 1.4 million sf, Normandale Lake is the Twin Cities' largest class A suburban office park, according to United.
Leasing for the Campbell Mithun Tower will be led by senior brokers Jim Montez and Brent Erickson, who are both Downtown experts. Dave Costello, general manager, has been at Campbell Mithun Tower since 1999 and has been hired by United Properties to continue leading the property management team.
TIAA-CREF, with more than $300 billion in combined assets under management, is one of the nation's largest financial services firms for retired education and research employees. The company has some $50 billion in real estate assets.
