Campbell Mithun Tower Hires United Properties

MINNEAPOLIS-The 725,000-sf class A office tower located at 222 S. Ninth St. in Downtown is owned by TIAA-CREF. United's Jim Montez and Brent Erickson will lease the property, while Dave Costello, the building's general manager for five years, will continue to manage it.

MINNEAPOLIS-TIAA-CREF has hired United Properties to provide leasing and property management services for Campbell Mithun Tower, a 725,000-sf class A office tower located at 222 S. Ninth St. in the Downtown business district. United Properties assumed management and leasing duties for the 41-story tower effective this month.

The building is currently 85% leased and is home to about 50 companies and 3,000 employees. Key tenants include Campbell Mithun Advertising, which currently occupies 120,000 sf and six floors in the building; Capella University, with more than 90,000 sf and four floors; and Berkley Risk, which occupies 90,000 sf and four floors.

“Our vision is to position the property to stand apart from its competitors Downtown,” says Jeff Eaton, senior vice president of United Properties Property Services. United Properties also manages and leases TIAA-CREF-owned Normandale Lake Office Park in Bloomington. At 1.4 million sf, Normandale Lake is the Twin Cities’ largest class A suburban office park, according to United.
