Lewis spent eight years focusing on the real estate and real assets investments held by MIT's endowment and retirement plans. He committed equity of over $650 million to over 40 investment funds and helped initiate MIT's first private equity investments in real assets. Before joining MIT in 1996, Lewis began his career as an architect.
"The opportunity to join Tuckerbrook was just too good to pass up," says Lewis. "It provides me with an excellent opportunity to extend the work that's been my passion at MIT for so long." Tuckerbrook was formed this year to provide an alternative investment platform for institutional clients.
