Investor Moves to Tuckerbrook

BOSTON-Peter Lewis, currently the director of real estate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is signing on at Tuckerbrook Alternative Investments LP. Lewis will be the firm’s managing director. In his new capacity, Lewis will create and manage Tuckerbrook’s real estate investment product and co-manage a diversified real assets product designed to hedge against inflation.

Lewis spent eight years focusing on the real estate and real assets investments held by MIT’s endowment and retirement plans. He committed equity of over $650 million to over 40 investment funds and helped initiate MIT’s first private equity investments in real assets. Before joining MIT in 1996, Lewis began his career as an architect.
