The facility is located over the Northeast Proton Therapy Center, south of Fruit Street, adjacent to the Fruit Street Parking Garage toward Cambridge Street. The project includes a six-level, 725-space, below-grade parking garage.
Located in the new center will be: the MGH Cancer Center; the cardiovascular program; MassGeneral Hospital for Children; the musculoskeletal program; and, the MGH Women's Health Program. The Yawkey Foundation, the former owner of the Boston Red Sox, was established in 1976.
