The REIT has promoted Royal Pratt from regional director of the Houston portfolio to a newly created vice president of leasing and operations for the Gulf Mountain and West Coast regions. Pratt will be based in Phoenix. W. Troy MacMane will take on the role of regional manager of the Houston portfolio and Brock Wilson will take over MacMane's position.
"The changes are occurring because of the growth of the company," Greg Downs, managing director of Gulf Mountain and West Coast Regions, tells GlobeSt.com. "We have an increased portfolios and tenants in those (areas)…They're getting larger and we just felt the need to have a lot more support to operate these various offices."
MacMane will oversee acquisitions, dispositions, developments, build-to-suits, asset management and lease negotiations. "Troy is a Houston native and he was the natural and strong choice to run the Houston office," Downs says.
MacMane has more than 12 years' experience in industrial real estate. He joined First Industrial as leasing director for the REIT's Houston portfolio, a position he held for three years. Prior to joining First Industrial, he was a senior associate for Trammell Crow Co.
