BOSTON-Trinity Terrace Cooperative opened at 12 Trinity Terrace in the Four Corners neighborhood of Dorchester. The construction and rehabilitation project involves 62 units of affordable rental housing, a management office, a community center and retail space. The project will function as rental housing for at least 15 years after which it will be transferred to a cooperative.

Trinity Financial Inc., a firm specializing in residential and commercial development, developed the project. The cooperative was built on 22 vacant parcels of city-owned land on Washington, Norwell and Rupert streets. The development overlooks a newly created linear urban park and involved the historic rehabilitation of the only 19th-century commercial building in the neighborhood, located at 213-217 Washington St.
