Accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P. will be the office building's main tenant. The Michigan Economic Growth Authority board approved the tax credit Tuesday.
The MEGA board also approved plans to capture $1.6 million in state and local taxes to assist another Southeast Michigan brownfield project, the $8.2-million redevelopment of the former Ford Motor Co. distribution center in Redford Township.
Pinnacle Commerce Center L.L.C. plans to reconfigure the 980,000-sf building into a multi-tenant commercial center that will include warehouse and industrial space. The state recently granted Pinnacle an $820,000 brownfield SBT credit toward demolition and sitepreparation.
