The new facility is currently being prepared for existing and new roll forming and stretch bending machinery and is scheduled to be fully operational by January 2005. Wagon is a full-service manufacturer and engineer of automotive body products -- specializing in lightweight structures, specifically closures, impact beams and glazing systems. Wagon also has extended its current lease on its Sterling Heights facility, used for computer-aided design and engineering services.
Wagon North America is a subsidiary of Wagon plc, which is headquartered in the UK and has facilities in France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, and the Czech Republic. Wagon North America operations also include facilities in Southfield, Sterling Heights and Pontiac.
