Cohen Financial Adds Bay Area Director

SAN FRANCISCO-The Chicago-based commercial real estate financing company names former Eastdil Realty vice president Patrick McAllister a director within its Capital Markets Unit in San Francisco.

SAN FRANCISCO-Cohen Financial has strengthened its Capital Markets Unit here with the addition of Patrick McAllister, most recently a vice president with Eastdil Realty. As a director within the Capital Markets Unit, McAllister’s focus will be the origination, analysis, and placement of real estate equity and debt investments. A licensed attorney and broker in the State of California, McAllister has about 10 years of commercial real estate finance and investment sales experience. He has additional experience in ground lease, joint venture and large multi-state portfolio transactions with multifamily, office and retail properties. Cohen is a national real estate finance company. The company’s Capital Markets Unit managing director Bill Wein says part of McAllister’s appeal is that he brings to the table “very strong” professional relationships with CMBS lenders, life companies, regional lenders and local banks. At Eastdil, McAllister participated in several large San Francisco Bay Area commercial real estate sales and financing transactions, including Rincon Center and Foundry Square IV. Prior to Eastdil, Patrick spent two years with TrizecHahn Centers in La Jolla, CA as a disposition manager working on the sales of several regional shopping centers, including Sunnyvale Town Center and Santa Maria Town Center.
