QUINCY, MI-EAB Fabrication Inc. will expand its operations and build a new facility here, creating 137 new jobs for Michigan workers, including 75 jobs created directly by the company. The expansion is a result of assistance offered through the Michigan Economic Development Corp., which approved a Single Business Tax credit valued at $331,000 to help convince the company to choose Michigan over a competing site in Indiana.

The expansion is expected to generate $800,000 in private investment.”This is one of the first projects to benefit from a new law that helps the state create high-paying jobs in rural communities,” says Gov. Jennifer Granholm. “EAB’s decision to stay and grow in Michigan is a testament to the fact our state can compete and win in the global marketplace.”
