ProLogis Inks Deal in Germany

COLOGNE-ProLogis has leased 166,842 sf at one of its distribution parks here to tts Global Logistics GmbH. The third-party logistics provider now leases a total of 382,000 sf from ProLogis.The latest lease with tts Global Logistics is for Park Cologne-Eifeltor, which is located south of Cologne on the A4 highway, near the Cologne/Bonn Airport as well as the cities of Bonn, Frankfurt and Dortmund. The 62-acre park has 592,000 sf of built space and room for an additional 500,000 sf of buildings.The space at the park is broken into three buildings. Global Logistics’ neighbors will be ABX Contract Logistics GmbH and the confectionery producer Haribo. Global Logistics and Haribo will occupy a newly completed building. Roland Hennebach, vice president for ProLogis, describes Global Logistics as “one of Germany’s top logistics providers.” The new location will aid the company in distributing product across Germany and northern Europe, he adds.
