Silk Flower Maker Moving, Growing

LIVERMORE, CA-After 10 years in Hayward, Country Floral Supply next month will merge onto Interstate 580 and relocate to a much larger, Catellus-owned facility here.

LIVERMORE, CA-Country Floral Supply Inc. is moving here after 10 years in Hayward. The silk flower wholesaler and distributor has signed a five-year lease for 42,624 sf of industrial space in a Catellus-owned facility at 6909 Las Positas Rd. The value of the transaction is believed to be about $900,000.Country Floral’s broker in the transaction, Craig Hagglund of Lee & Associates East Bay Inc., tells GlobeSt.com that Country Floral now occupies about 25,000 sf in Hayward on a month-to-month basis and that the company will relocate to Livermore in November. Mike Lloyd of Colliers International in Pleasanton represented Catellus.In another recent East Bay industrial deal, Greig Lagomarsino and Rick Keely with Colliers International in Oakland represented UBS Realty Advisors in leasing 28,000 sf at its Winton Industrial Center in Oakland to Aloha Shoya Co. LLC. The Hawaii-based corporation intends to use the space for the production and distribution of its soy sauce products. The 63-month deal is valued at about $750,000. Scott Laird with Lake Merritt Commercial represented Aloha Shoya in the transaction.
