Transwestern's Andy Stape, Bob Filley, Joe Friedman and Wes Scott were the sole brokers involved in the transaction. The deal was a significant one in that, as Friedman tells GlobeSt.com, "the building sold for an approximately 6.5% cap-rate, which is what buildings in Downtown Washington, DC are getting."

Located just outside Reston Town Center in the historic Lake Anne Village Center community, the four-story, class B structure was developed 30 years ago. Today, Lake Anne Professional Building is leased to maximum capacity by the Fairfax County government under a long-term agreement. According to Fairfax County records, the property has a current assessed value of nearly $3.7 million.
