NAR, which purchased the 93,000-sf building from developer Lawrence N. Brandt Inc. six months ago for $16 million, will make its home in 40,000 sf of the structure and leave the remaining space open for lease. Cassidy & Pinkard is in place as the building manager and leasing agent, and is marketing the class A office space for $37 to $40 per-sf.

Located midway between the US Capitol and the MCI Center, the 12-story Graham Gund Architects-designed office building is draped in glass from top to bottom and sports blue-green hues. But its most talked-about feature is its environmentally advanced make-up, which wins it the title of the District's first newly developed "green" building, having met all the standards of superior environmental performance as outlined by the US Green Building Council. The structure is in line to receive certification from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System.
