"The city is doing its part to provide affordable housing inSouth Boston by making sure that city-owned land is developed intoaffordable housing," says Mayor Thomas M. Menino. The project wasdeveloped by Costello Homes LLC, a joint venture of the SouthBoston Neighborhood Development Corp. and Keen Development Corp.Costello Homes was named in memory of former SBNDC president,Robert Costello.
Funding for the project was provided by the Department ofNeighborhood Development, Neighborhood Housing Trust and BostonCommunity Capital.
