The General Electric Co. subsidiary is relocating from 2625 E. University Dr. in the airport submarket. The five-year deal is valued at roughly $500,000. The subsidiary will use the space as a sales and service showroom for plastics products, says Jeff Conrad, a principal with Lee & Associates Arizona of Phoenix, who represented the building owner, Dallas-based Lincoln Property Co.

Conrad tells GlobeSt.com that GE Polymershapes previous location was more than a quarter of century old and had no truck-loading space. "GE (Polymershapes) needed a larger, newer space and wanted to be more centrally located," he says. The 50,666-sf industrial flex building, which is 90% leased, is located in Central Phoenix and offers freeway visibility. Moreover, it is just two years old and boasts two truck wells with ample truck maneuverability, he adds. Jim Wilson of Cushman & Wakefield Inc. of Arizona represented GE Polymershapes in the transaction.
