Changing of the Guard at NAREE

NEW YORK CITY-Stephen B. Siegel, chairman of global brokerage for CB Richard Ellis, will be the keynote speaker at the National Association of Real Estate Editors Annual Awards Dinner this Tuesday when current NAREE president Michael G. Desiato, editorial director of Real Estate Media Inc., publisher of Real Estate Forum , Real Estate New York and GlobeSt.com, will be installed as NAREE chairman of the board. The event is just one of the many planned as NAREE members join with the Urban Land Institute for fall summits. ULI’s meeting runs from Nov. 1 to 5 and NAREE is tying its 75 Anniversary Summit into that event from Nov. 2 to 4.

On Wednesday, Richard Himmel, president of Related Urban Development and Andrew S. Cohen, Partner, Apollo Real Estate Advisors, will brief NAREE registered journalists at the residential component of the Time Warner Center — One Central Park Condominiums — just prior to the ULI evening reception.
