"CP Analytics has developed cutting edge portfolio analysis tools which help major space users to prioritize and optimize their real estate decisions," says Raymond Torto, principal and chief strategist for TWR. "While our products have historically been used by investors, there is a clear opportunity to provide value for occupiers as well."

Torto feels that the primary target clients are large corporations with multiple owned or leased locations in North America. Firms that usually take a tactical approach to real estate leasing or ownership will now be able to use a more strategic approach demanded by CFO's. TWR's current client base includes Metlife, AEW Capital Management and Guggenheim Partners Real Estate.

CP Analytics, which formed in 2004, stands to benefit greatly from the alliance as well. "Our relationship with TWR furthers our ability to help real estate users better manage the risk of real estate market pricing fluctuations to lower occupancy costs," says Martha O'Mara, managing director of CP Analytics. "The combination of TWR's knowledge with our proprietary analytic tools gives our clients a unique and comprehensive understanding of the marketplace and their portfolios."

TRW, which was founded in 1982, is an independent subsidiary of CB Richard Ellis. CP Analytics was formed this year and has a client base which includes Sprint, SBC and the US General Services Administration.
