Joseph M. "Matt" Dawson has taken on the role of association chair for the Houston-based organization. He is leader of Ernst & Young's Southeast Area Enterprise Support Services business unit in Atlanta.
Teena Shouse and Gary Broersma were appointed as first and second chairs, respectively. Shouse is general manager for employee services for Sprint in Overland Park, KS, and Broersma serves as director of global facility management for Covance Laboratories in Vienna, VA.
In addition, three more professionals are joining eight returning members on the committee: Jeffrey M. Woolf, executive director with Cushman & Wakefield Inc.'s Los Angeles office; James E. Loesch, chief engineer of plant facilities for Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, MD.; and Paul Doherty, executive vice president and chief information officer for the McLain Group in San Diego.
The balance of the board is comprised of David J. Brady, president and CEO for IFMA in Houston and executives from Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, Toronto and Basel, Switzerland.
